• Graduated from the medical faculty of Vilnius University.
  • Head of the Cardiology and Angiology Center at Vilnius University Hospital "Santariškių klinikos".
  • Since 2006 – Honored Physician of Lithuania. In 2011, awarded the St. Christopher statuette. In 2013, for special merits in cardiac surgery, the professor was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas.
  • Specialization: electrophysiological diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, including using the "CARTO" 3D mapping system, application of the latest heart stimulation methods. Together with colleagues, introduced the latest technologies for treating arrhythmias for the first time in Lithuania.
  • Completed internships at cardiology clinics in Sweden and the USA. Participant in numerous international conferences.
