Severans covers nearly every field of medicine: from obstetrics to nuclear medicine. Its physicians keep up with global scientific advances and use modern techniques and equipment, including the Gamma Knife, the Da Vinci surgical robot, and highly precise MRI, CT, and PET diagnostic technologies. This is supported by Severance’s partnerships with major hospitals in Europe and the United States. Doctors from Korea, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region train at the Severance Education Center.
Severance was the first Korean hospital to receive the prestigious international JCI accreditation. It earned JCI accreditation in 2007—before any other Korean hospital—and has consistently maintained it. Additionally, the international Da Vinci robot-assisted surgery training center at Severance hosts surgeons from Europe and the Asia-Pacific region every year.
