Sejong is a large international multidisciplinary medical center, primarily renowned as the country's leading cardiovascular research and clinical center. Cardiac surgery and the treatment of cardiovascular diseases have been the main specialization of Sejong since its founding in 1982.
Achievements:
- In 1989, it was granted the status of the Only Specialized Medical Institution for the Treatment of Heart and Vascular Diseases by the Ministry of Health of Korea;
