The “Guang-Yu” Clinic was also known to Russian patients under the name “Syhe.”
It is one of the oldest clinics of traditional Chinese medicine, founded in 1541 by Dr. Yu Ming Jiangjing. Almost 500 years ago, he opened four Guang-Yu pharmacies, and today this name is borne by an AAA-class hospital. This is the highest rating, awarded only to the best medical institutions in China, equipped with the latest technology, having their own medicine production, staffed with highly qualified doctors, and conducting scientific research.
Guang-Yu is located in a busy central district of Dalian. It occupies a four-story building, which houses:
- More than 10 departments;
- An inpatient facility with 60 beds;
- Its own pharmacy and medicine production factory.
The clinic collaborates with the Institute of Chinese Medicine, the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Chinese Society of TCM, the Chinese Center for Health and Cultural Communications, Dalian Medical University, and the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Furthermore, the medicines produced here are supplied to numerous state hospitals and pharmacies across different cities in China.
The clinic’s well-earned high reputation brings more than 20,000 patients from China and abroad every year.
