BGN Eye Hospital Busan is an ophthalmology hospital in Busan, founded in 2017. It is part of a network consisting of two branches in Busan and one in Seoul. Despite having opened relatively recently, it has already become the flagship hospital of the network. The hospital is equipped with technology at the level of university hospitals and provides:
-
all types of vision correction procedures — LASEK, LASIK, ReLEx SMILE, ICL/Aqua ICL;
-
glaucoma treatment;
-
cataract treatment;
-
treatment of dry eye syndrome and other eye diseases in both children and adults.
Overall, specialists within the network, over the course of 18 years—the first clinic was founded in 2000—have performed more than 300,000 surgeries. They have established partnerships with leading medical centers in Korea (St. Mary’s Hospital, Asan Medical Center, Severance Hospital, Samsung Medical Center), hosted delegations from neighboring countries, and participated in international forums and symposia. All of this accumulated experience was utilized in the establishment of BGN Eye Hospital Busan.
The hospital is certified by the Korean government as being authorized to receive international patients. An International Department operates within the hospital, whose staff speak Russian, English, and Chinese.
