Hasharon Hospital is a large clinical complex offering comprehensive medical and diagnostic services. The institution is distinguished by its continuous implementation of medical innovations, impeccable service standards, and advanced technological infrastructure. In 1996, it merged with the renowned Beilinson Hospital. In 1998, the hospital performed Israel’s first living-donor liver transplant, followed in 1999 by a landmark cross-kidney transplant between an Arab and a Jewish patient. That same year, the hospital introduced a unique cerebral vessel catheterization procedure, and in 2001 it performed a robot-assisted surgery.
Today, the hospital’s inpatient department has 500 beds, with capacity continuing to expand. More than 130,000 patients are treated annually, including international patients. Priority specialties include oncology, interventional cardiac surgery, cardiology, endocrinology and diabetology, transplantology, orthopedics, and neurosurgery. Many physicians working at the hospital have received prestigious awards and hold advanced academic degrees.
The pride of the hospital is its cardiology department, which includes 20 interdisciplinary units and several specialized institutes. Treatment is provided according to the most advanced standards, and close collaboration among specialists ensures maximum effectiveness. The cardiology center offers the full spectrum of care, from conventional pharmacotherapy to microsurgical cardiovascular procedures and open-heart defect correction.
International patients are accommodated in spacious, bright, and well-equipped rooms with private bathrooms and modern amenities. Their stay is complemented by well-organized leisure activities. The region’s clean environment promotes rapid recovery, while Israel’s natural resources allow patients to undergo spa and wellness treatments directly on the hospital grounds.
