Bundang Jesaeng is a multidisciplinary clinic that opened in 1998 with the support of the Taejin Medical Foundation. It is one of the largest clinics in the region and, over 15 years, has:
-
treated more than 6,500,000 outpatient patients,
-
performed over 120,000 surgeries,
-
built a staff of 1,300 employees.
The clinic’s primary areas of focus are the treatment of brain tumors, hepatology, and care for patients with burns. In total, the clinic has:
-
25 departments, including therapeutic, orthopedic, cardiology, gynecology, and others;
-
13 specialized centers, including rehabilitation, dental, and oncology.
Bundang Jesaeng keeps pace with scientific progress — it was the first clinic in the country to implement electronic medical record systems. Thanks to these systems, all patient information is organized, accessible to both the patient and the attending physician, and cannot be lost or damaged, unlike paper medical histories. In addition, the clinic is equipped with modern medical equipment — 3.0 Tesla MRI, 3D mammography, and the RapidArc radiosurgery system.
The International Department works with foreign patients, receiving approximately 2,000 individuals annually from Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, and Japan. The department not only handles organizational issues (visa, airport transfer, accommodation, translation) but also advises on activities during free time — the city is rich in attractions.
