About the clinic

The Chung-Ang University Hospital was founded in 1968 and relocated to a new, modern building in 2004.

The hospital is equipped to meet the latest medical standards, including:

Treatment directions

Department gastroenterology

The gastroenterology center includes the following sub-centers:

endoscopic,
oncology of the gastrointestinal tract,
treatment of the liver, pancreas and biliary tract.

The center's doctors specialize in gastro - and colonoscopies, which immediately remove polyps and, if necessary, take tissue samples for biopsy. An equally important area is hepatology, treatment of hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Malignant tumors are removed by chemoembolization, which involves injecting a chemical directly into the artery that feeds the tumor. This reduces the damage done to the body as a whole.
