The Chung-Ang University Hospital was founded in 1968 and relocated to a new, modern building in 2004.
The hospital is equipped to meet the latest medical standards, including:
-
Da Vinci surgical robot for minimally invasive procedures
-
PET-CT and angiography equipment for precise diagnostics
-
Linear accelerator for radiation therapy in cancer treatment
The hospital has 19 departments and 4 specialized centers: thyroid treatment, spinal center, cardiovascular, and gastroenterology. All departments operate under a One-Stop system, meaning that examination, results assessment, and treatment initiation (including hospitalization if necessary) can be completed during the patient’s first visit.
The International Department provides services in Russian, English, and Mongolian, supporting patients throughout their stay in Korea. Services include:
-
Accommodation in guesthouses with private kitchens and appliances
-
Free transfers from the airport or hotel
-
National menu options for inpatients — Russian, Mongolian, European cuisine
-
Guided tours and sightseeing
-
Post-discharge documents in the patient’s native language
The hospital attracts not only international patients but also medical professionals for training programs. In 2015, it received the Medical Korea Award for its efforts.
