Copernicus Clinic was founded in 1853 in Gdańsk, Poland. Throughout its history, it has undergone multiple modernizations and transformations while maintaining its status as the city’s leading hospital and one of the most advanced in the country. The hospital has been recognized by national and international healthcare quality control commissions, including ISO. Originally a pediatric institution, it was fully transformed in 2013 into a hospital serving both children and adults.

The medical staff of Copernicus Clinic consists of highly competent physicians of the highest qualification categories, whose excellent reputations are beyond doubt. Most specialists have undergone training and internships at prestigious educational and clinical institutions in Western Europe and the United States. Many physicians hold academic degrees. Ongoing research and experimental work is actively conducted within the hospital, enabling it to be among the first in Poland to develop, implement, and refine innovative therapeutic approaches.

The clinic’s priority areas include orthopedics, neurology and neurosurgery (including pediatric), gastroenterology and hepatology, general surgery, cardiology, and cardiac surgery. The hospital is fully equipped for accurate diagnostics and safe, effective treatment. Its pride lies in its outstanding technical equipment, including robotic systems, next-generation linear accelerators, arthroscopes and endoscopes, enhanced-optics laparoscopes, laser and radiofrequency surgical knives, microsurgical instruments for cardiovascular operations, cyber, gamma, and nano knives, as well as ultra-modern devices for comprehensive diagnostic evaluations.

International patients are accommodated in cozy, bright, and clean rooms furnished with modern equipment. Rooms are equipped with nurse call systems. The cost of stay includes a tasty, balanced, and nutritionally appropriate full-board menu tailored to the recommendations of the attending physician.
