Luisenhospital Clinic opened its doors to patients in 1867 in Aachen. Despite its long history, it continues to maintain its status as one of the most advanced hospitals in the country. Today, the hospital includes 18 specialized and interdisciplinary departments providing a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for somatic and psychoneurological disorders. The hospital has been repeatedly accredited by authoritative organizations, including the German KTQ and European ISO.

Numerous international congresses, conferences, and round-table discussions are held annually within the clinic. Its physicians enjoy well-earned respect among international colleagues. The medical staff consists of highly competent doctors, many of whom hold academic degrees and honorary awards. Each year, approximately 160,000 patients receive treatment at the hospital, 43,000 of whom are hospitalized.

The hospital is fully equipped for early diagnosis and effective treatment. Operating rooms are outfitted with radiofrequency and laser scalpels, next-generation Da Vinci robotic systems, endoscopes and laparoscopes with high-powered optics, neuronavigation systems, and stereotactic radiosurgery equipment. The diagnostic department offers comprehensive check-up programs that rapidly examine all body structures and detect even minimal functional abnormalities.

Patients are accommodated in comfortable, fully furnished rooms with a home-like atmosphere. Caring and attentive nursing staff further enhance patient comfort. Upon request, patients are provided with three meals per day tailored to physician recommendations.
