Medicover became the first private medical institution in the country. Today, the hospital represents the largest medical and diagnostic complex located in the capital city of Warsaw. The institution includes three multidisciplinary outpatient units, operating theaters (both conventional and hybrid), intensive care wards, a comfortable inpatient department, and seven specialized and interdisciplinary departments. More than 4,000 surgical procedures are performed annually at the clinic, including innovative and microsurgical interventions.
The staff of Medicover Clinic consists of physicians with impeccable reputations and achievements recognized by the international medical community. Most specialists hold PhD or Doctor of Science degrees. Some physicians also teach at local universities. The specialists favor close collegial collaboration, which allows them to address not only the disease itself but also its multifactorial underlying causes.
The clinic’s equipment meets advanced European standards. Medicover is equipped with 128- and 256-slice CT scanners, innovative PET and PET-CT systems, a 4D ultrasound scanner, computerized neuronavigation systems, robotic platforms, high-powered laparoscopic systems, and linear accelerators. Combined with the extensive experience of its physicians, this advanced technical infrastructure contributes to more effective treatment of patients across various profiles, including oncology and cardiac surgery.
Patients are accommodated in single and double rooms, as well as “family” apartments for those staying with relatives or accompanying persons. All rooms are furnished and equipped with appliances, including air conditioning, refrigerators, televisions, and nurse call systems. Facilities are fully adapted for patients with disabilities. Upon request, interpreter services, visa support, and airport transfers are provided.
