The Medanta Institute of Medicine is India’s largest multidisciplinary medical, diagnostic, and research center. It comprises 22 specialized and interdisciplinary departments, the eCLINIC telemedicine center, a large ground ambulance fleet and air ambulance service, 45 operating theaters, 350 intensive care beds, and a 1,600-bed inpatient hospital.

The Medanta Institute of Medicine maintains extremely high standards for its medical staff. Only highly qualified physicians work here, most of whom have completed advanced training in Europe and the United States. The position of Chief Medical Officer is held by the renowned thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Naresh Trehan, who, as head of Global Health Private Ltd., initiated the establishment of the hospital in 2009.

Each year, the hospital treats more than 20,000 patients from around the world. An International Patient Services Department assists foreign patients with flight bookings, documentation, and airport transfers. Upon request, each patient is assigned a dedicated coordinator who oversees care from admission through discharge.
