Ziv Medical Center is a leading medical institution in northern Israel, accredited by international healthcare quality control organizations. It was founded in 1910 as a military hospital. Today, it is an ultra-modern medical center providing a full range of services—from emergency hospitalization and intensive care to comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Since 2013, the institution has been engaged in charitable activities; in recent years alone, it has provided free medical care to more than 800 victims of the war in Syria.

The center serves as the official clinical and academic base of the Faculty of Medicine at Bar-Ilan University. International patients are offered the services of coordinators and interpreters who assist in scheduling examinations and procedures in a language familiar to the patient.
