Pusan National Hospital is a public medical center that began operating in 1956 as part of Pusan National University.

These results are largely thanks to the hospital's advanced technology, including: PET-CT and PET-MRI for oncology diagnostics, a Gamma Knife, a device for tomotherapy and the SmartBeam radiosurgical system. A fully automated laboratory system analyzes biological fluids according to 2,000 criteria.
