Sport Clinic is a specialized medical institution located in the Polish city of Żory, founded in 2002, and providing services primarily in the field of minimally invasive surgery of the musculoskeletal system. The clinic’s priority areas include arthroscopic repair, joint replacement, and joint reconstruction. All procedures are performed through tiny punctures, which reduces trauma to healthy tissues and promotes rapid restoration of motor function.

The inpatient department of Sport Clinic has a capacity of 40 beds, where patients can recover after surgeries and procedures. Rehabilitation programs are developed individually, depending on the goals of the surgical intervention, the initial condition of the musculoskeletal system, the patient’s well-being, and the presence of concomitant or aggravating pathologies.

In addition to surgical treatment, the clinic offers diagnostic check-up programs, including:

  • Laboratory tests (blood tests for C-reactive protein, rheumatoid factor, etc.)

  • Computed tomography using innovative scanners with 128- and 256-slice capabilities

  • Magnetic resonance imaging of joints and soft tissues using high-field scanners with detailed imaging

  • Digital radiography

  • Skeletal scintigraphy

  • Ultrasound examinations of soft tissues and blood vessels

The hospital treats patients with chronic disorders of the locomotor system, acute injuries and post-traumatic complications, degenerative-dystrophic diseases, autoimmune conditions, and sports-related injuries. Each patient receives an individualized approach.

During rehabilitation, local physicians use methods such as electrical stimulation, shockwave therapy, balneotherapy, therapeutic massage, and kinesiotaping. The rehabilitation department includes a gym equipped for robotic-assisted recovery of motor functions, strength training, and development of neuromuscular coordination. Many patients visit the clinic exclusively to undergo rehabilitation programs.
