Medical Centre Sunway

Sunway is a medical centre that began operations in 1999. Throughout its nearly 20-year history, it has continuously developed — new, more advanced buildings were constructed, all modern treatment methods were rapidly implemented, and additional departments were opened. Today, Sunway includes:

• 535 inpatient beds — from multi-bed rooms to luxurious VIP suites;

• 180 consultation rooms;

• 12 operating theatres;

• an oncology and radiosurgery centre with a brachytherapy room, 2 radiotherapy rooms, and 2 nuclear diagnostics rooms;

• more than 40 departments and specialized centres.

For the convenience of patients and their companions, there is also a multi-level parking facility on the premises. In 2018, construction of an additional building was planned — it houses delivery suites, operating rooms, and haemodialysis and endoscopy departments.

The Sunway centre’s high standards are confirmed by:

• certification from the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards;

• the title “International Hospital of the Year” in 2016 and 2017;

• “Best Fertility Centre” in 2018;

• “Best Marketing Initiative” in 2017;

• “Orthopedic Service Provider of the Year” in 2017;

• “Cosmetic Surgery Service Provider of the Year” in 2016,
  and other awards from the Malaysian government and international medical tourism organizations.
