The University Hospital of Würzburg is a multidisciplinary medical institution comprising more than 40 units and departments. Since 2016, it has ranked 8th nationwide for quality of service according to the authoritative publication FOCUS. Each year, the hospital treats 50,000 inpatients and 110,000 outpatients. Its bed capacity totals 1,430.
