Department gastroenterology

The Department of Gastroenterology uses a large arsenal of methods to combat diseases of the stomach, intestines and liver.

Gastro-and colonoscopies are performed under sedation to relieve the patient of unpleasant sensations. If polyps are found during the procedure, the doctor can remove them immediately.

Most often, foreign patients apply to Wakhard for surgical treatment when other methods have proved ineffective. Part of operations performed at the center:

hepatectomy-removal of the liver or part of it in case of tumors, liver failure, cirrhosis;
cholecystectomy — removal of the gallbladder;
