The quarantine in South Korea is completely lifted!
Starting from June 8, the mandatory 7-day quarantine for unvaccinated passengers entering South Korea will be lifted.
Prime Minister Han Dok-soo said in his speech at the meeting of the Central Headquarters for Disaster Management and COVID-19 Security Measures, which was held at the government complex in Seoul on June 3, said that given the stable quarantine situation and medical response capabilities in the country, it was decided to further expand the scale of daily recovery after the pandemic and to minimize inconveniences for the public.
All aviation regulations, as well as the curfew at Incheon International Airport, will also be lifted from June 8. Currently, flights are not allowed at the airport from 20:00 to 5:00.
However, the mandatory PCR test or rapid antigen test before entry, as well as a PCR test performed within 3 days after entry, remain.
From April 1, 2022 South Korea has restored visa-free entry to more than 112 countries.
These countries include Russia and Kazakhstan.
