Qarantine in Korea lifted for vaccinated tourists
From April 1, 2022 South Korea has restored visa-free entry to more than 112 countries.
These countries include Russia and Kazakhstan.
And also, starting from April 1, the mandatory quarantine for citizens arriving in the country was lifted.
Patients can now start treatment, if necessary, on the day of arrival.
Moderna Janssen Johnson &Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Pfizer, Pfizer, Janssen (Johnson &Johnson), AstraZeneca, Novavax, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, and others have been vaccinated with one of the 10 most popular vaccines approved by WHO.
Unfortunately, Sputnik V and other vaccines available in Russia were not included. And for many Russians, a 7-day quarantine remains in a quarantine hotel.
Terms of entry to Korea after vaccination:
- You can enter the country without quarantine if you have received 2 doses and at least 14 and no more than 180 days have passed since receiving the second dose, as well as all those who have passed the third vaccination. If you are vaccinated with the Janssen vaccine, you can enter after the first vaccination, also no earlier than 14 and no later than 180 days.
What you need to do before your trip:
- - It is necessary to enter the vaccination history into the quarantine information pre-entry system (Q-Code) on the website https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr/cpassportal/biz/beffatstmnt/main.do?lang=en
- - upload the vaccination certificate to the program and then provide it at the border control.
List of exclusion countries:
The rules do not apply to citizens of Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Myanmar (information as of April 1, 2022).
