Mastectomy in Istanbul, Türkiye

After arriving at the hospital, I received a consultation from a professor regarding a lump in my breast. The translator was constantly with me and helped with everything, as I don't speak Turkish. The doctor is professional and pleasant. He conducted a repeat diagnosis. On the same day, I quickly underwent mammography, ultrasound, and a biopsy. They confirmed the presence of a cancerous tumor. The neoplasm was large and could only be removed by surgery. I will return to the clinic in a few days. I feel like I am in good hands. The hospital is new, built a year ago. . Istanbul is a very beautiful city. I am staying in its tourist part. People are very friendly, the food is wonderful.

The hospitals-travel staff did an excellent job. They promptly provided information about the best clinics that perform breast cancer surgeries. And I chose the "Anadolu" Medical Center. The operation was successful, but the price is incredible. I had to pay $16,000 USD for breast surgery. Nevertheless, I was provided with good care and rehabilitation.

I visited Anadolu for re-diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. What can I say, I was disappointed that they offered the same drugs as in Ukraine. I expected, of course, something else. But maybe the specialists here know better, because judging by the speed of examination and obtaining test results, their medicine is clearly stronger. I want to believe that therapy with their medications will be more effective and the disease will recede. Now I am preparing for a second trip to undergo examination and see how the prescribed drugs are working, if there are improvements.

I had a good impression of the service and my visit to the "Anadolu" clinic. I was met at the airport by a doctor-coordinator who organized the transfer to the hotel. The oncologist is a pleasant person with professional qualities. He inspires my trust. The doctor answered all my questions. The doctor carefully studied my medical history and did not prescribe unnecessary examinations. I would like to note the quality work of the translator who was with me in the doctor's office. After the consultation, I was given a report and an invoice was sent to my email. I paid for the doctor's services after the consultation, which saved my time.
