“Medicina” is a clinic opened in 1990 in Moscow. It is the first medical institution in Russia accredited by JCI — an international organization evaluating the quality of medical services. Other achievements include:
- successful completion of international certifications ISO 15189-2012, 9001:2008, 27001:2013;
- receiving 5 stars at the EFQM Awards 2012 (Award of the European Foundation for Quality Management);
- being honored with the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation;
- receiving the “Quality Mark” diploma;
- being recognized as the best private clinic and medical institution of the year at the Moscow festival “Formula of Life-2012.”
This proves that the clinic meets global standards of service and medical care. It offers detailed diagnostics, complex surgeries on the heart, brain, and spinal cord, installation of individualized prostheses, and other high-tech procedures.
The clinic includes:
- a polyclinic,
- a multidisciplinary hospital,
- an emergency service,
- an oncology center.
More than 300 doctors work at “Medicina,” covering 67 medical specialties: obstetrics and reproductive medicine (including IVF), internal medicine, surgery, neurosurgery and neurology, diagnostics, rehabilitation, and others. In 2016, they treated 50,914 patients. The clinic follows the principle “1 patient – 1 doctor”: each patient is supervised by a curator who prescribes treatment and coordinates other specialists.
