About the clinic

The multidisciplinary Subang Jaya Medical Centre is part of the Ramsay Sime Darby network of clinics in Malaysia. Its leading areas of expertise are oncology, hematology, and gastroenterology, and Subang Jaya includes a total of 33 specialized centers.

It is one of the largest private medical institutions in the city, treating more than 40,000 outpatients per month. The seven-story hospital building houses:

  • an inpatient ward with 393 beds,

  • an intensive care unit with 26 beds,

  • a hemodialysis department,

  • 9 operating rooms and 3 endoscopy suites,

  • 10 delivery rooms.

Subang Jaya has received several local awards and international recognition:

  • JCI accreditation from the Joint Commission International

  • accreditation from the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health,

  • twice awarded by the Prime Minister of Malaysia,

  • an award from the Malaysian Institute of Quality, and more.

The high level of the center is demonstrated not only by its numerous certificates but also by the accomplishments of its physicians. Here, the first living-donor liver transplant in Southeast Asia, the first bone marrow transplant, the first awake craniotomy, and the first endovascular aneurysm treatment procedure were performed. This was also the place where Malaysia’s first IVF-conceived child was born.

International patients receive comprehensive support: interpreter services, coordination of all processes (doctor appointments, procedure scheduling), and financial consultations.
