About the clinic

The multidisciplinary Inha Medical Center, affiliated with Inha University, was opened in Incheon in 1996.

Inha is a part of Hanjin Corporation and aims to advance medicine and medical tourism. To achieve this, it implements new technologies that make diagnosis more accurate, treatment safer, and patients' stay more comfortable.

Technologies:

  • The "Cyberknife" radiosurgery treatment for bloodless removal of tumors previously considered inoperable;
  • HIFU Cancer Therapy — treatment with high-intensity focused ultrasound;
  • PET-CT, MRI examinations, and X-ray machine examinations with high resolution and low radiation levels. Densitometry and Bone Scan equipment are installed to study the condition of bones;
  • A Regional Clinical Trials Center operates at Inha, highly evaluated by the Ministry of Health;
  • Specialised centers focus on endocrinology, diagnostics, various types of oncology, transplantatology, heart and gastrointestinal diseases, and emergency care. An Inha branch also operates at Incheon airport.

Progress:

  • Certificate for "Best gastroenterological Center";
  • Official partner of the FIFA World Cup and the Asian Athletics Championships;
  • Proprietary developments — methods for detecting lupus and iron deficiency anemia;
  • Successful experience in organ transplantation, including from donors diagnosed with brain death, and in autologous bone marrow transplantation.

An International Center works with foreign patients. Stuff duties include: support from the moment of arrival in the country, interpretation in Russian or English, and consultations.

Meals are paid separately, and patients can choose Korean, European or Russian cuisine. Accommodation in a Standard room costs $240.
