I only have positive impressions of the "Ajou" Medical Center.

I went there when I realized I was dissatisfied with the level of oncology treatment in Russia. I needed to undergo a PET-CT scan: there was no necessary machine in my city, but "Ajou" had two of them. I was amazed by the level of organization of the entire treatment process! Where in Russia it would take 2 days to see several doctors and get all the tests done, in Korea it only takes 30 minutes. Half an hour - and the test results are already in hand, and the doctor is ready to see the patient again immediately.

I am also grateful to the medical coordinator of the center. I'm afraid it would have been difficult without her help. She even gave me a weekend tour of Suwon, where the center is located, and I was able to visit the famous Hwaseong Fortress. After recovery, I plan to come to this city as a tourist: I already know you can have a great time here.

I learned about my diagnosis in March 2016. It was cancer, and at a late stage. Due to the size of the tumor, I was refused surgery in Russia, and I had to look for a clinic abroad.

I chose the multifunctional medical center at Ajou University. This clinic was recommended to me because, firstly, it employs world-class specialists. I was convinced of this from my own experience: I was surrounded by attention and care, doctors were nearby 24/7. I was operated on by Dr. Chang Ki Hong, who was concerned about my well-being even after I returned to Russia.

Secondly, "Ajou" offers significant discounts on treatment for patients from Russia.

I only have pleasant impressions of the treatment organization. The coordinator was always nearby, translating the doctors' words, consulting, and supporting me.

I spent almost 2 weeks at the "Ajou" Medical Center, from late January to mid-February 2017.

 I am endlessly grateful to all the staff of the medical center for their sensitivity and high qualifications. Despite being alone, I never felt lonely or scared in Korea.

My attending physician was Dr. Kim Ku Sang, who amazed me from our first meeting with his skill and attentive, friendly attitude.

The coordinator of the international department of "Ajou", Tatyana, did everything to make me comfortable. She quickly dealt with any arising problems and took care of organizational matters: arrival, accommodation, departure.

In 2016, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although the treatment was successful, this disease needs constant monitoring, which requires specialists and diagnostic equipment that can detect cancer at early stages. Such equipment is hard to find in Russia, but it exists in Korea.

I was treated at Ajou University Hospital. I was impressed by both the technical equipment and the organization of the visit. I felt very comfortable and calm, largely thanks to the work of coordinator Tatyana.

I especially want to note the attitude of the doctors, including renowned and authoritative professors. Despite the huge workload and large flow of patients, they treated me very respectfully and delved into my situation.

I went with my husband, who was offered a separate package of examinations. He completed all the procedures in half a day and was very pleased.

I have been to the "Ajou" clinic several times. In November 2014, I came for an operation to remove a thyroid tumor, then in 2015 and 2016 I underwent control examinations, which showed that the treatment was successful. Now I feel wonderful, thanks to the work of wonderful doctors: the orthopedist, therapist, their assistants, and Professor So Eu Yeong, who performed the surgery.

I am glad I chose "Ajou". Here I met outstanding professionals and underwent diagnostics on high-class equipment. At the same time, the clinic's prices are affordable.
