In Russia, my father was diagnosed with a liver tumor. Until the last moment, he didn't believe it could be something serious — nothing bothered him, he didn't notice any symptoms. But we managed to persuade him to come to Korea for treatment at Samsung Medical Center.

Here, my father underwent all examinations in just 2 days. CT, MRI, PET, colonoscopy under sedation, biopsy, and tests — quickly, without queues. I liked that everything happened exactly at the scheduled time, without delays.

Based on the diagnostic results, a final diagnosis was made: it was carcinoma, fortunately without metastases. But it was located deep in the liver tissue — such tumors are not removed surgically or with radiation therapy. Usually, only chemotherapy is used, although its effect is weak. Because of this, the doctors held a consultation and decided to perform surgery despite the risks.

It lasted 6 hours and went well: on the second day, my father was already able to walk in the corridor, and after the surgery, there weren't even any scars left.

Nurses cared for him, who were by his side round the clock — I didn't have to do anything myself. And in general, I really liked the organization of work: polite, friendly, attentive doctors. We were confident that we could trust their professionalism. I would especially like to mention the Russian coordinator, who was by our side the whole time, even during the surgery, translating, helping to schedule procedures, and dealing with everyday issues. Thank you for her clear, competent work!

Upon learning of my diagnosis — ovarian cancer — I was about to undergo surgery in Moscow, but my parents made an appointment for me with a doctor at "Samsung". At first, I didn't even want to go: the name was off-putting. But, fortunately, my parents persuaded me to at least consult.

When I arrived in Korea, I learned that Samsung Medical Center is one of the leading medical centers in the country, also known worldwide. Here, there are the most modern technologies and equipment, specialists from the best universities in Korea and the USA work — even I became trusting, although I have always been wary of doctors.

My surgery went without a single complication, completely without pain or discomfort. The examination showed that the tumor was completely removed.

When my two-year-old son was diagnosed with an atrial septal defect, I started looking for a hospital that could help us. In Kazakhstan, pediatric cardiac surgery is only developing; children like him usually undergo open-heart surgery. Therefore, we read about Russia, Germany, Israel, Korea, where minimally invasive surgeries are performed — it's safer and easier for the child to endure. After gathering all possible information, we decided to choose "Samsung".

The hospital is simply huge — I was amazed when I saw it! Right in the building where we stayed, there were restaurants, several shops, a pharmacy, a bank, and a garden nearby — we often walked there. But more importantly, wonderful doctors work there. I am grateful to our surgeon Kang I-seok, pediatricians, and coordinators who picked us up from the airport, constantly supported us, accompanied us during examinations. The nurses are very calm and kind, easily find an approach to any child, even if he is acting up. And my son seemed to feel the universal support and behaved very calmly, didn't cry.

The entire process of examinations and treatment is very orderly and computerized. Doctors prepare in advance for the appointment and familiarize themselves with the medical history. During procedures, children are distracted with cartoons so they don't get anxious. They are fed 3 times a day, you can choose a menu.

In the end, I want to support everyone who is facing heart surgery — don't despair! Look for a good hospital and doctor and you will definitely find it!

I am very pleased with the service and the interpreters. They are professionals. The clinic is clean and cozy. The medical staff is polite. The doctor selected the optimal treatment plan and said to expect results in a month. I will definitely come to the Samsung Medical Center for a follow-up consultation.

We went to Samsung Hospital for a consultation. I liked the consultation, the interpreters were professional and answered my questions very quickly. I had spine surgery; the operation lasted 2 hours, and the total hospitalization was 4 days. After discharge, I flew home on a plane wearing a corset.

At the clinic, we were admitted quickly and well, everything was explained clearly during the consultation, and tests were scheduled. The results were prepared in just 2 days. It turned out everything is fine with me, even though I came to you with a great fear that they would confirm cancer. Thank you very much!!! The clinic is top-notch, the attending physician is a professional! Now I tell my acquaintances how Korea differs from Russia - in efficiency and clarity of actions, and we patients are not left in fear of the unknown! Now I am sure that I am healthy, but I realized that nothing is more valuable than health when it seems to be hanging by a thread! Take care of yourselves everyone and get examined!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the representative in Kazakhstan, Elena, for organizing the trip to the Samsung clinic in Seoul. The entire process of my stay in Korea was organized very thoroughly: the hotel, transfer from the airport, an interpreter at the clinic, the schedule of visits to the doctors I requested... We underwent an examination at the Samsung clinic for vitiligo. This diagnosis was given to us by our local doctors. No treatment was required, as the doctors at the Samsung clinic did not find any vitiligo in the child. I was pleasantly surprised. The clinic provided us with a free interpreter who accompanied us everywhere. The staff is attentive and polite. Many thanks to the service employees and especially to our medical coordinator. My son is 2 years old, he underwent a very complex operation to close an atrial septal defect (10mm). The operation was performed using an endovascular method. We are so happy that we had this operation at Samsung. It was important for us that the operation was not open-heart surgery. I searched for a long time for information, experience, consequences, and dreamed that we could have the operation done this way. In Kazakhstan, such closures are not performed on children weighing less than 15 kg. Many parents take their children to Russia, Germany, South Korea, Israel. By a happy coincidence, we ended up at Samsung, where I met the mother of a baby who was there with the same problem.

I am ready to kiss the hands of surgeon Kang Yi Seok, the entire pediatric department, and the department for working with Russian-speaking patients, Sonia, Lisa, and Mr. Choo. They all contributed to my son's recovery. A fragile girl named Sonia met us at the airport and then accompanied us to examinations, supported me morally during the operation, and became almost like family to me.

About a month has passed since the operation, I look at my son's leg, the site of the operation, but I don't see anything there. No bruise, no scar. If I hadn't seen his leg right after the operation, one might think he never had a puncture. My God, is this really what modern high-tech is?

I want to note the high professionalism of the nurses, how quickly and painlessly they install catheters, draw blood, how they change the adhesive tape on these catheters, wipe the puncture site with special wipes, and massage to prevent stiffness! They find an approach to every child. Everything is so organized and computerized. Each child in the department wears a bracelet on their arm containing all information about the child and the prescribed treatment. When you come for an examination, everyone already knows what examination to do. During the examination, the child watches cartoons. After examinations, we walk in the garden in a special children's stroller with a stand holding various blinking sensors and IV drips.

There are several restaurants, a grocery store, a small household goods store, a bank, a pharmacy, and even souvenir shops on the clinic grounds - it's like a city within a city. I want to tell all parents whose children face heart surgery that the main thing is to find a good clinic, trust the surgeon, and get the best treatment.

I am satisfied with the service. The coordinator promptly resolved all issues. There were no queues at the hospital. The medical staff quickly and efficiently performed all procedures. All clinic staff are polite to patients. Unfortunately, I received the report in Korean. Now I am waiting for the English version.
