As a doctor, I am closely familiar with domestic medicine. When I needed a general examination, I decided to go to a foreign clinic.

I settled on “Hanyang” – they had a 10% discount for foreign patients. I went there with my friends, who also wanted to schedule diagnostics in Korea.

The first thing that struck us was the pleasant atmosphere. Everything is very calm and friendly. Polite nurses escorted us to the necessary rooms so no one would get lost. We didn't have to stand in queues and waste time.

Before departure, we were given results on a disc in Russian: tests, ultrasound, X-rays, etc. Of course, I could have had all these procedures in Russia, but I preferred to pay for quality service and respectful treatment. I thank the doctors for their friendly approach.

Before retirement, I learned from our doctors that I had a huge list of various diagnoses: from diabetes to a brain tumor. Of course, I was depressed, but fortunately, my daughter didn't let me give up. It was she who suggested going for an examination abroad.

We chose “Hanyang” Clinic – it's close and the price is reasonable.

The examination took 3 hours: I had tests, ultrasound, mammography, eye pressure measurement. In addition to the basic package, I scheduled an MRI.

First, I was pleased that all procedures are painless. Even colonoscopy and gastroscopy are performed under medical sedation to spare patients unpleasant sensations.

Second, most diagnoses (including oncology) were not confirmed, but Korean doctors found something that Russian doctors had not paid attention to. They gave me detailed recommendations and explained the test results.

For a full body check-up, I chose “Hanyang”. It's a center affiliated with the medical university, combining an outpatient clinic, diagnostic department, and treatment buildings.

Right upon arrival, I was met by an interpreter. Subsequently, he was always in touch and ready to advise on any issue, even currency exchange and other everyday matters.

Treatment organization was handled by coordinator Lyudmila. She did everything so that I promptly underwent the necessary examinations, scheduled additional ones, received treatment and consultations.

Overall, I have only the best memories of my stay in Korea. Even the procedures in the gastroenterology and colonoscopy departments went without discomfort! I had them twice and never experienced pain or other unpleasant sensations. When I had a free minute, I walked around Seoul and had a very interesting time.
