Department plastic surgery

Plastic surgery in Thailand offers a wide variety of types of surgery. Modern methods practiced by Thai surgeons are not very traumatic. Facial plastic surgery, as well as breast, abdominal, and hair transplants are the most popular.

A facelift allows you to restore skin elasticity, shape the contour of the face, and remove wrinkles. Thai surgeons use the following methods to remove excess skin and redistribute it.:

  •  circular facelift. The surgeon carefully performs incisions at the temples and leads them to the auricles. The operation is performed under general anesthesia and requires rehabilitation;
  •  spacelift. The most modern methodology. Skin tightening is combined with the movement of muscle tissue, capturing deeper structures. The effect of such an operation lasts longer.;
  •  endoscopic facelift. It is the least traumatic: absorbable plates are inserted through minor incisions. With their help, soft tissues are moved to the right place and fixed.

Blepharoplasty is the plastic surgery of the eyelids. In Thailand, plastic surgery can affect either the upper or lower eyelids separately, or both eyelids at once. The "blepharoplasty of Asian eyes" is especially popular, i.e. the operation to change the Asian shape of the eyelids to a European one. Two types of operations are possible:

  •  surgical blepharoplasty is performed through incisions on the inside of the eyelid;
  •  Laser blepharoplasty — the latest laser technology is used, which helps to avoid incisions.

Rhinoplasty is the correction of the nose shape. The operation is preceded by a comprehensive diagnosis of the entire body, a special examination of the nasal sinuses and a preliminary modeling of the future shape of the nose. There are also two types of operations:

  •  Open rhinoplasty is performed through incisions on the surface of the nose;
  •  Closed rhinoplasty is performed through an internal incision in the nasal cavity.

Mammoplasty is breast plastic surgery. Such plastic surgery is practiced in Thailand in several forms:

  • breast augmentation;
  • breast reduction;
  • breast lift (mastopexy);
  • correction of the nipple shape;
  • treatment of gynecomastia (breast enlargement in men).

Liposuction is the removal of excess fat from different areas of the body. Plastic surgery in Thailand uses a number of modern liposuction techniques:

  •  laser;
  •  ultrasonic;
  •  radio frequency;
  •  water jet.

In addition to the treatment itself, patients are provided with comfortable accommodation in well-equipped wards. Plastic surgery in Thailand can be combined with a vacation, as most surgeries do not require long–term hospitalization - it is often enough to see a doctor for several days.
