“Çınar” (translated from Turkish as “Plane Tree”) is a rehabilitation center located in the resort city of Alanya. It began operations in 2009 under the name “Sea Star Alanya” but was renamed in 2017 to the Private Center for Special Education and Rehabilitation Çınar. Despite being a private center, it is under government supervision.
The center accepts children with:
-
autism;
-
limited mobility, including wheelchair users;
-
cerebral palsy;
-
speech and hearing impairments;
-
Down syndrome and other congenital conditions.
There are no age restrictions — Çınar’s specialists are prepared to work with both adolescents and very young children. Rehabilitation programs are designed according to modern global standards. The center is equipped not only with high-tech medical equipment and training devices, but also with cameras so that parents can monitor their child’s activities throughout the day.
Çınar combines therapy and rest. Children participate in sessions with teachers, attend physical therapy and physiotherapy, interact with each other, play outdoors, and engage in art activities. A balanced rehabilitation program prevents excessive fatigue and stress.
Parents do not need to worry about accommodation: the center offers several options, including villa rentals, aparthotels, or rented apartments.
