“Kardelen” is a rehabilitation center that opened in 1998.
The center specializes in diagnostics and intensive rehabilitation for children and adolescents with disabilities. Staff at Kardelen develop individual recovery programs for each patient, taking into account age and overall condition.
The center provides support for children with cerebral palsy, paralysis caused by various conditions, spinal cord injuries, congenital, autoimmune, rheumatic, and neurological disorders. Treatment focuses on maximizing mobility and social integration.
Center facilities include:
-
Multiple Sensory Room — sessions reduce stress and support the development of motor skills, coordination, and attention using music, light effects, and play and creative kits.
-
Indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
-
Sensory adaptation room for children with hearing and vision impairments — children learn to orient themselves in the environment and locate nearby sound sources.
-
Literacy room — where speech therapists and special education teachers work with patients.
-
Montessori room — for sessions with children with autism.
Patients are supported by psychologists, psychotherapists, trainers, reflexologists, physiotherapists, and specialists in modern rehabilitation techniques.
