Dadong is a rehabilitation center located in Harbin. Since 2008, the hospital’s physicians have been helping patients with cerebral palsy from China and abroad. Dadong accepts patients regardless of age — both very young children and adults.
The hospital employs more than 70 doctors and specialists in rehabilitation, physiotherapy, therapeutic physical exercise, speech therapy, and Eastern medicine. This is the key distinguishing feature of Dadong: sessions on high-tech rehabilitation equipment are combined with acupuncture and therapeutic moxibustion. The hospital integrates modern scientific achievements with centuries-old experience of traditional Chinese medicine, making treatment comprehensive and effective.
Dadong keeps pace with technological progress:
-
the management of the hospital continuously purchases new diagnostic equipment and rehabilitation devices,
-
physicians regularly undergo internships and advanced training, and professors from Beijing are invited for educational programs.
Dadong occupies a spacious building whose premises are adapted to the needs of patients with limited mobility: wide corridors, large elevators, and ramps. The center has inpatient wards for 100 patients; in addition, it is possible to rent an apartment in the city center within a few minutes’ walking distance from Dadong.
For international patients, the center provides:
-
services of Russian-speaking interpreters,
-
airport pickup,
-
assistance with currency exchange,
-
assistance with accommodation and housing search,
-
transfer services.
