P. A. Herzen Moscow Research Oncology Institute

The P. A. Herzen Moscow Research Oncology Institute was founded in the late 19th century and became the first hospital in Russia and Europe specializing in cancer treatment. It is regarded as the birthplace of Russian oncology treatment.

Scientific Achievements of the Institute:

• Improvement of radiation therapy techniques for gynecologic cancers
