Mount Elizabeth Orchard is positioned as a medical center that employs the largest number of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in the Asia-Pacific region. But doctors are not the only advantage of a cardiology referral at the center. It also attracts patients:

by the presence of two specialized cardiovascular operating rooms for angiography and angioplasty;
by sophisticated package examination programs;
by resources for performing complex heart and vascular operations that would not be possible without proper technical equipment.

Surgeries are performed primarily by a closed method, percutaneous or endovascular, to reduce the likelihood of complications. Without opening the chest, using a catheter, doctors can repair or completely replace the aortic valve. For prosthetics of the aortic and other heart valves, plastic is used; materials obtained from animals; patients ' own tissues.

Other procedures:

for arrhythmias-radiofrequency ablation, installation of a pacemaker or cardioverter-defibrillator;
