The N.N. Priorov Central Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics is the largest clinic focused on diagnosing, treating, and preventing disorders of the musculoskeletal system. It comprises 15 scientific and clinical departments, 17 clinical and diagnostic laboratories and consultative units, 16 operating theaters, and a polyclinic. The institution also hosts a traumatology institute and an orthopedic rehabilitation center for children and adolescents.

The inpatient department has a capacity of 407 beds and includes emergency operating rooms with intensive care units. Each year, the clinic provides effective medical care to an average of 6,100 patients, including more than 1,200 individuals admitted with acute isolated or combined trauma.

Inpatient accommodation is available in both standard wards and luxury single- and double-occupancy rooms.

The diagnostic departments are equipped with ultra-modern devices for ultrasound, CT, MRI, MSCT, SPECT, scintigraphy, radiography, and other essential procedures. For suspected hereditary and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, comprehensive, specialized diagnostic check-up programs are available.

The operating theaters perform all types of joint replacement surgeries, therapeutic and diagnostic arthroscopy, internal fixation using metal and bioresorbable implants, reconstructive and plastic microsurgical procedures, and other surgical interventions.
