Gleneagles is one of four medical centers operated by Parkway Hospitals, opened in 1957. It is a modern, comfortable clinic located in a scenic area next to the Singapore Botanic Gardens. The hospital offers:
- 258 beds across general wards, intensive care units, transplant wards, and ambulatory surgery units
- 12 operating rooms equipped with surgical robots and intraoperative imaging systems (CT, MRI, angiography)
- 9 delivery suites
Like all Parkway medical centers, Gleneagles is equipped to treat a wide range of conditions. Patients come here for effective medical management and complex surgeries for cancer, cardiovascular diseases, joint and orthopedic disorders, neurological conditions, and diseases of the lungs, stomach, intestines, and other organs. The doctors at Gleneagles can perform procedures of any complexity—from routine screening to kidney and liver transplantation.
This was the first medical center in the Asia-Pacific region to perform a pediatric liver transplant and to introduce robotic brain surgery, made possible through continuous adoption of innovative technologies and equipment.
The International Patient Services Department operates 24/7 to ensure a comfortable stay for foreign patients. They assist with visa support, interpreter arrangements, transfers, and hotel booking. Staff also handle dietary needs, taking into account medical, personal, and religious requirements.
