About the clinic

Department gastroenterology

The Center of Gastroenterology at the Sung Jong Hyang Clinic in Seoul was launched in 1998 and has since become:

is the only one in Korea that the World Organization of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy has recognized as an international training center for endoscopic surgery;
has received awards for the best training videos for 8 consecutive years.

The center has formed separate teams headed by a professor for each digestive organ and type of disease. Currently, the center of gastroenterology has departments for the treatment of gastrointestinal tract tumors, varicose veins and colon polyps.
