Vivantes is a network of nine public clinics in Berlin, specializing in oncology, neurology, rehabilitation, and surgery. These are not the only areas of focus: the clinics employ more than 15,000 internationally recognized physicians covering over 60 medical specialties — from anesthesiology to endocrinology.
Vivantes is one of the largest medical organizations in Germany, with its branches collectively serving more than 550,000 patients annually. The network includes:
-
over 100 institutes,
-
more than 40 highly specialized centers — for the treatment of breast cancer, prostate cancer, and other diseases,
-
14 senior care centers,
-
a rehabilitation center,
-
subsidiaries that provide clinic clients with cleaning and laundry services and manage catering,
-
an international department.
All nine branches collaborate with German universities, and the doctors combine clinical practice with research and teaching activities.
Each year, Vivantes treats approximately 5,500 patients from Russia and Kazakhstan. The clinics can provide them with:
-
assistance with obtaining visas,
-
interpreter services in English, Russian, Arabic, or Chinese,
-
organization of leisure activities — shopping, excursions,
-
accommodation in comfortable rooms with high-speed internet, private bathrooms, a safe, and a minibar,
-
laundry services,
-
an on-site restaurant and cafeteria at the selected clinic.
