Rhinoplasty abroad provides a safe operation and a satisfactory result. Korean, Indian and Turkish clinics have the most experience and qualifications in this area. Patients are offered the most modern rhinoplasty techniques.

Preoperative period

In order for the operation to be performed without complications and the patient to be satisfied with the result, rhinoplasty abroad includes a set of preoperative procedures:

  •  diagnosis of the patient's body as a whole. It allows you to predict and prevent possible complications during surgery and during the rehabilitation period. For example, special preparation before rhinoplasty is prescribed to patients with concomitant chronic diseases;
  •  The patient's nasal sinuses are subjected to a special comprehensive examination. It includes a CT scan and a doctor's consultation;
  •  a preliminary simulation showing the patient options for improving the shape of the nose.
  • The success of rhinoplasty abroad is largely due to the high quality of preoperative examinations.

Rhinoplasty surgery

Foreign clinics, depending on the specific case, offer non-surgical or surgical rhinoplasty.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is suitable for minor changes in the shape of the nose. Fillers are injected under the skin — special fillers that are safe for the body. Hormone therapy can sometimes be used to stimulate tissue resorption and thus eliminate irregularities.

Surgical rhinoplasty involves surgery. A nasal incision is performed, and depending on the nature of this incision, two types of surgical rhinoplasty are distinguished.:

  • open rhinoplasty — incisions are performed on the columella (the fold of skin separating the nostrils). At the same time, the surgeon gets the opportunity to work with the tissues most thoroughly. The operation is performed under general anesthesia and is suitable if significant changes are necessary. Thanks to the unique skills of foreign surgeons, the thin scar that remains after surgery disappears quite quickly.;
  • closed rhinoplasty — an internal incision is made in the nasal cavity. Even a temporary scar can be avoided, but the surgeon's access to the operated area is limited by the natural nasal cavities. This is not an obstacle for rhinoplasty abroad — the latest microsurgical technologies provide high-quality results.

Rehabilitation period

During surgery, a plaster cast is applied to the patient's nose. This is necessary to protect the nose from external influences, as well as to consolidate the new shape of the nose. During this period, the patient may experience side effects.:

  • painful sensations;
  • impaired nasal breathing;
  • edema;
  • hematomas;
  • minor bleeding.

The bandage is removed after one to two weeks, during which time the side effects disappear and the patient is discharged. Foreign clinics make the recovery period as painless and comfortable as possible.
