 My name is Tatyana. I live in Nizhny Novgorod. I am 35 years old. I have been married for 5 years, and my husband and I always wanted to have a child, but we couldn't. Not long ago, doctors discovered I had a fibroid, but they said it wouldn't prevent me from carrying a child, the only thing was that I would have to have a cesarean section. When we finally managed to get pregnant, a misfortune happened; at 3 months, the child died, precisely because of the fibroid. After that, we stopped trusting doctors in Russia, and when they told me I needed surgery, we started looking for options abroad. Israel and Germany were quite expensive options, so we settled on Turkey, on the Johns Hopkins Medical Center.
After arrival, I was immediately examined, and it turned out that I had two fibroids: one on the outside, which the doctors in Russia had diagnosed, and another fibroid inside. It turned out the surgery would be very complex. The most important thing was preserving the uterus since I wanted to give birth. I am so glad I had the surgery here; the operation went very well, and my uterus was preserved. Many thanks to the doctors for their professionalism, and to the nurses and translators for their attentive attitude!
A month after the surgery, I needed to fly back for a follow-up examination with the doctor. The doctor made me happy, said everything was excellent, and in about a year, we could think about trying to get pregnant again. If it doesn't work, I am already considering IVF since time is passing, and I also intend to give birth here!
