Reasons

The exact mechanism of the disease has not been fully established, but scientists believe that hair loss begins as a result of impaired testosterone levels in the body.

Causes of hair loss:

• hereditary predisposition;
• the natural aging process;
• hormonal disorders (in women – during menopause, after childbirth);
• mechanical damage to hair (frequent coloring, perming);
• head injuries;
• fungal and bacterial diseases;
• autoimmune processes;
• long-term use of certain medications;
• radio emission;
• taking birth control pills;
• frequent stress;
• eating disorders.

Symptoms of hair loss

The symptoms characteristic of hair loss are:

• thinning hair;
• daily loss of large amounts of hair;
• the appearance of bald spots starting on the frontal and temporal zones and moving towards the parietal zone.
