Treatment in Kaphen, South Korea

I was firmly determined to treat my bilateral coxarthrosis (hip joint osteoarthritis) abroad: the statistics for joint replacement in Russia were not encouraging.

I chose Cheongshim International Medical Center. I was attracted by the clinic's high overall level, the surgeons' qualifications, and, not least, the reasonable price.

The experience was fantastic. The center is on the shore of a lake, with an excellent view from the hospital room window. The staff is very attentive: they met and conducted an initial examination despite my late arrival; they prepared movies in Russian. The next morning, I underwent a full examination, and in the afternoon, I had surgery to install a metal-ceramic endoprosthesis. Its warranty is 20 years.

After that, I was under constant supervision by nurses. Korea has an extremely sensible approach to pain relief: small doses of anesthetic are administered continuously for 2 days, and an additional injection can be requested if needed. This greatly contributed to an easy recovery.

I recovered quickly and now feel wonderful. My main advice to everyone going abroad for treatment: bring all your images and doctor's reports, even old ones. It helps the doctors!

I have very warm impressions of everyone who met me in Korea, worked with me, translated, and, of course, treated me. Wonderful, very bright and positive translator Inna Kim, charming nurses, and incredible orthopedic surgeon Jang Woo Suk, who instilled in me confidence in a 100% successful surgery. I also want to note the work of rehabilitation therapist Yu Young Eun—despite her young age, she proved to be a first-class specialist. I felt the care and sincere involvement of all the clinic's specialists!

After installing the most modern model endoprosthesis, I successfully completed the recovery period and returned home to Russia in a wonderful mood.

I am immensely grateful to the Cheongsim Medical Center for the hip joint replacement surgery. It was successfully performed by Dr. Jang Woo-seok — thank you for his professionalism! I would also like to note the excellent work of the coordinators, Inna and Natalia, who were attentive and caring throughout my entire stay at the clinic.

I came to "Cheongsim" regarding a spinal hernia — the hernia was removed and the vertebrae were secured with a special structure. I went with my wife, and after the operation we spent 2 weeks in the hospital. We liked everything very much! The hospital is located in an incredibly beautiful place: clean air, surrounded by forest and mountains, a lake nearby — perfect for walks!

The staff is very attentive, they even offered a special menu for diabetics. We are glad we chose "Cheongsim", we don't regret a single minute of coming here!

The "Cheongsim" Medical Center and its amazing specialists helped me in a very difficult situation — recovery after several strokes. I would especially like to thank the rehabilitation department. The attention, care, and boundless patience of not only the doctors but also the nurses and coordinators helped me cope with the illness.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank the professional and caring translators, with whose help I was able to communicate freely with the doctors, the responsive nurses, and of course Dr. Jang Woo-seok and Dr. Lee Myeong-jon! Their professionalism is admirable — they relieved me of the neuropathy that was tormenting me.

I wish health and prosperity to everyone who helped me overcome the illness.

First of all, I want to admire the work of Dr. Jang Woo-seok: it was he who correctly determined the treatment tactics and performed the most complex surgery at the highest level.

But he was not the only one involved in the treatment, so I thank the physical therapy instructor Park Se-cheol — his efforts helped me get back on my feet so quickly. You can see how much he loves his job!

I have only good memories of the nurses and especially — Kim Mi-gyeong, the head nurse responsible for the coordinated work of all medical staff.

Of course, we must mention the translators, Alexander and Inna, who promptly and professionally resolved all issues related to organizing the trip and the surgery.

I came for Parkinson's disease treatment and was completely satisfied with the treatment's effectiveness — thanks for this to Dr. Lee Myeong-jon, a specialist of the highest level who achieved a quick and positive result. I must also note the overall service — for this I thank all the clinic staff, nurses, and translators.
