Treatment and diagnostics for abroad

I would like to thank the service for the good organization of my visit to the "Neolife" Medical Center. In the clinic, medical care is at a high level. Doctors and nurses are polite, professionally perform their work. The ward is clean, comfortable. I was convinced that the doctors apply international protocols for the treatment of oncological diseases.

The hospital building is very modern and very well organized. When you arrive,   someone from the administration will help with registration and then take you to the clinic where your appointment is scheduled. You may have to wait to see a doctor, but everything is within reasonable limits. In my case, I think I should have made an appointment with a surgeon right away, not an endocrinologist. It took two days before the endocrinologist to repeat the same procedure I had done in Bahrain, that is, to repeat the ultrasound, which turned out to be an exact copy of the report made in Bahrain. And one new test was done. Anyway, after meeting again with the endocrinologist with the ultrasound and lab results, she decided to refer me to a surgeon who looked at the ultrasound results as well as the biopsy reports. He recommended surgery to remove the right lobe of the thyroid gland. He said if the nodule found there is cancerous, then the left lobe should also be removed. A period of two weeks is recommended for surgery and subsequent observation. I asked for a treatment cost estimate, after which I was given an approximate estimate for the surgery. I did not agree to the surgery at the clinic because the cost was three times higher than the cost of the same surgery in Bahrain. And it did not cover accommodation, food, and medicine expenses.

I am very satisfied with the service and the university hospital «Medipol». The clinic is comfortable. The surgeon doctor is wonderful. The ward is super. The nurses and other staff – are simply angels. The coordinator was constantly nearby or in touch. He instantly solved all problems.

Thank you so much for everything. At the airport, my sister and I were met by a service representative who organized the transfer to the hospital. A translator was waiting for us there. He organized a meeting with the doctor to prescribe a treatment program for my sister. We will start it next month. The doctor made an impression of a real specialist in his field.
