Glomerulonephritis

Glomerulonephritis is an immune—inflammatory kidney disease characterized by damage to the renal glomeruli. Other kidney tissues may also be involved in the inflammatory process. Glomerulonephritis can develop as an independent pathology, or as a result of ongoing systemic diseases.
