The main symptoms of a kidney cyst include discomfort, pulling pains in the lower back, the appearance of blood in the urine, and an increase in blood pressure.

Many medical tourists from all over the world choose kidney cyst treatment abroad, focusing on relatively low prices and extensive experience of specialists from Israel, Germany, China, Korea and other foreign countries.

Diagnosis of kidney cyst abroad

It is worth noting that cyst formation can be asymptomatic, which is why it is so important to identify the disease as early as possible.

Treatment of kidney cysts abroad includes the following types of diagnosis:

  • general blood and urine tests can detect signs of an inflammatory process. This analysis is informative only if a secondary infection is present.;
  • Ultrasound — allows you to determine the presence of cysts, their structure, number, size and shape with almost absolute accuracy.;
  • Intravenous urography also allows you to specify the size and specific location of cysts.;
  • CT and MRI scans enable specialists to distinguish an ordinary cyst from malignant neoplasms.

Methods of treatment of kidney cysts abroad

Treatment of kidney cysts abroad does not always involve surgery. In many cases, doctors prescribe to the patient only observation and regular ultrasound to assess the condition of the cyst. If it becomes apparent that it is increasing in size, doctors prescribe special procedures for the patient.

One of the most popular methods of treating kidney cysts abroad is percutaneous puncture, removing fluid from the neoplasm using a thin needle and filling it with ethyl alcohol. Despite the frequency of use, this method is considered unsafe, as in many cases it involves a recurrence and even the possibility of infection of the kidney.

Laparoscopy, a surgical procedure performed through three small incisions in the abdominal wall, has become an alternative to this method. Eliminates the possibility of recurrence, performed under general anesthesia.

In some cases, if a cyst ruptures, suppresses, or transforms into a malignant tumor, the patient is prescribed open surgery. This technique may even involve excision of the free cyst wall or complete removal of the kidney, if necessary.
