Rehabilitation in clinics Russia

Why should you pay attention to treatment in Russia?

High-tech care is available to Russian citizens for free, even if we are talking about famous clinics in the capital. This requires an insurance policy (compulsory medical insurance or VMI) and a quota. Patients from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries will receive services on a commercial basis, but the total cost will be lower than in clinics in Western Europe.

Russian medical tourism is at the stage of development: so far the country does not accept huge flows of patients from foreign countries. But in recent years, people from Asia, the Baltic States, and even Western Europe can be found in medical and diagnostic and sanatorium-resort institutions in the country.

Russians believe that cancer and other serious pathologies should be treated abroad. But even foreign doctors know that the "gold" standards of antitumor therapy are the same almost everywhere, and they differ only in price.

The following services are provided in medical and diagnostic institutions in Russia:

  • robot-assisted surgery;
  • abdominal operations of any complexity;
  • conservative antitumor therapy (including immune and molecular targeted therapy, which uses imported drugs and analogues of domestic production);
  • cardiac and vascular operations;
  • radical resection of organs in malignant tumors;
  • radiofrequency ablation of liver metastatic lesions;
  • intraperitoneal hyperthermic chemotherapy;
  • traditional radiation therapy and brachytherapy;
  • organ transplantation from living and dead donors;
  • assisted reproductive technologies.

The most progressive and promising clinics in Russia are the S.P. Botkin Clinical Hospital, the N.N. Burdenko Military Hospital, the No. 62 Cancer Center, the N.I. Pirogov Clinic of High Medical Technologies in St. Petersburg and others.

Advantages of treatment in Russia:

  • lack of a language barrier;
  • availability of advanced medical care methods approved by WHO;
  • high-quality personnel training;
  • convenience of transportation of seriously ill;
  • reasonable cost of services in private medical and diagnostic centers;
  • effectiveness of the procedures performed;
  • dynamic monitoring after operations without traveling abroad.

It is advisable to choose a medical and diagnostic institution with the help of professionals who are informed about the current conditions of a particular clinic.

The cost of procedures in Russian clinics

Prices for services in clinics in Russia are more loyal than abroad. Consultation in private centers that are not covered by insurance costs from 500 rubles. Medical examination and check-up examination will cost from 2000 to 8000 rubles. The cost of simple operations starts from 4000-5000 rubles, complex – from 20000-30000 rubles.
