Treatment and diagnostics oncological diagnostics in Bavaria, Germany

Any disease is easier to prevent than to treat, and if it must be treated, then it is better to do so at an early phase. This statement is especially true for oncological pathologies, treatment of which at late phases may be difficult, lengthy, and expensive.

That is why oncological diagnostics are so popular and are offered by many clinics in Bavaria. The examination program necessarily includes:

• blood tests — clinical and biochemical,
• urine analysis,
• tumor marker tests,
• ultrasound of the abdominal and pelvic organs,
• chest X-ray,
• for women — mammography,
• for men — examination of the prostate gland.

More extensive and costly programs include additional techniques of examination, MRI, and PET-CT. They are not prescribed to everyone because of the high cost, but if the patient wants complete information about their body, they may sign up for such a procedure.
