My daughter has type 1 diabetes, which appeared early—at age 6. My wife and I started sending inquiries to different clinics around the world, and the best response came from Stem Cell Medicare, which has a program for treating diabetes in children with stem cells.
In India, we were met by a Russian-speaking translator who organized the transfer to the hotel and a doctor's appointment on the same day. Overall, we really liked the organization of the whole process: we did not feel abandoned in a foreign country; a coordinator was always in touch with us. We were even given a free city tour!
The treatment itself went well and exactly as the doctor promised in the response to the request. My daughter endured the 4 cell implantations steadfastly, without complaints. Her well-being is good, and tests also show improvement. We will continue to monitor her condition and consult with the doctor, but for now, we are satisfied with the result.
And we are not the only ones—it immediately caught my eye that there are many patients here, both locals and foreigners.
