Preoperative examination in clinics South Korea

By a happy coincidence, I ended up in the hands of experienced doctors at the South Korean medical center "Ihwa". I was already preparing for surgery in Novosibirsk - they discovered an ovarian tumor, and the prognosis was 50/50. It seemed to me that our doctors are apparently afraid to take on extra responsibility, and if something goes wrong, they will blame it on the wrong 50 percent falling out, and that's it.

So, I'm preparing, finding out everything, and then I learn that my dad arranged (without my knowledge) for me to be taken for surgery at the Ihwa clinic in South Korea. Of course, I protested at first, but my dad insisted that I at least go there for a consultation, and then decide for myself.

It turned out to be one of the largest medical centers in South Korea with a worldwide reputation. It made an impression on me; doctors of the highest level, they inspired 100% trust in me, although I haven't always been particularly fond of doctors. Not to mention the state-of-the-art equipment there! Korea justifies its leadership positions in the field of global technology in medicine as well. They performed a brilliant surgery on me, I believe. Although for those doctors - it's their everyday work. After anesthesia, I didn't feel any pain. Postoperative observations showed that the tumor was completely removed and turned out to be benign. In six months, I will go there again for a check-up.

At QVIMS, I had a consultation with a gynecologist. I suffer from heavy menstruation, and my doctor hasn't been able to help me for over a year. I decided to get a second opinion and started looking for a gynecologist through the service. My opinion of the clinic is that everything is fine. I was seen on time, the doctor was polite and gave the impression of a competent specialist. I am currently taking pills and will come for a follow-up consultation in two months.

For 5 years, I tried unsuccessfully to get pregnant.

Friends told me about the "MizMedi" clinic, and I decided to go there.

At the airport, I was met by a hospital employee. He helped me rent a phone and get to the apartment I rented for the duration of the treatment.

I met my doctor the next day. It was Dr. Park Chang, who impressed me with how seriously she approached my problem. She had familiarized herself with my medical history and documents in advance (I sent them to the clinic before the trip) and took many of her own notes.

The preparation for IVF was long, but it was all worth it! When I returned to Russia, I took tests and found out that I was finally pregnant.

I loved the hospital and the polite staff. I also plan to give birth at "MizMedi"!

For 2 years that my wife and I tried to have a child, we visited many doctors, took countless tests, underwent several courses of antibiotics, and I was almost sent for surgery. All of this brought no effect, the doctors' conclusions and examination results were contradictory.

Learning that a professor from a Korean clinic was giving free consultations in our city, we, of course, turned to her. It turned out to be an employee of "MizMedi", who suggested we get examined in Korea. We agreed and never regretted it.

In Korea, we stayed at a hotel near the clinic. The accommodation cost $40/day - a special price for patients, it's more expensive for tourists. The examinations took us only a few hours and cost about $550 each, the results came in 3 days. We found out there were problems on my wife's side, which were treated right there at the clinic.

After months of fruitless visits to doctors, I was amazed by the speed with which diagnosis and treatment were carried out in Korea.

Initially, I flew to Korea to the "Uridil" clinic to remove 2 herniated discs. As soon as I arrived, endometriosis reminded me of itself, and bleeding started. I was diagnosed with this 4 years ago, doctors insisted on removing the uterus and didn't want to prescribe other treatment - they said it would be ineffective.

In Korea, I turned to "MizMedi", where they offered me laser surgery that would allow me to keep my uterus - of course, I didn't refuse. In the end, I got rid of an old problem and avoided radical surgery.

A few years later, the help of "MizMedi" doctors was needed by my daughter when she was diagnosed with a dermoid ovarian cyst. It was removed in 40 minutes, discharged on the 4th day - my daughter felt great.

We are both grateful to the gynecologists and surgeons of the clinic for their work!

After examination and removal of a benign tumor at the "Inha" clinic, I cannot say anything but gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and interpreters Natalia, Svetlana, and Nadezhda.

I turned to Inha University Hospital when I needed help from an oncologist and gynecologist. An operation and additional control examinations were scheduled there.

I liked how efficiently they work with Russian patients. Our medical coordinator Irina was very attentive and organized treatment not only for me but also for my husband. The hospital staff demonstrated a very sensitive and attentive approach; everyone—from orderlies to doctors—was friendly and polite.

I want to thank mammologist Che Yeong On and the wonderful gynecologist Hwang Hoon Ok, who worked with me at Inha University Hospital. They are top-class professionals who did everything possible to help me beat cancer. They were very attentive and caring, so the surgery and chemotherapy course went very smoothly under their supervision. I also cannot fail to mention the work of the entire hospital medical staff and my coordinator Svetlana.

I visited “Soon Chun Hyang” for a general check-up and also a gynecologist consultation. I liked everything, especially the attitude of the doctors. They explain everything very clearly and in detail, not at all like in Russia. Interpreters work quickly and competently; there were no difficulties in communicating with the staff. The clinic itself is cozy and beautiful.

Overall, I think the trip went just great.

I was very satisfied with both the diagnosis and the treatment. Everything went very quickly: I was examined, diagnosed, and scheduled for surgery literally within a couple of days. The doctor explained in advance why the surgery was needed and how it would be performed, honestly warned about the consequences — thank God, it went well! Even my doctor in Russia noticed that everything was done wonderfully, without adhesions.

After the surgery, nurses came to the room and checked my condition every few hours. I think it's thanks to them that I recovered so quickly and was able to fly home.
