LASIK in clinics South Korea

I want to share my unsuccessful experience at the BGN Eye Center. The trip was organized and I provided all the necessary documents. But further developments disappointed me. I provided the coordinator with documents, results of previous examinations and tests. But it seems they didn't even pay attention to them. They simply repeated the same examinations, did not outline a treatment plan, and it turned out that the doctors couldn't help me. It turns out my money and time were wasted. Moreover, the clinic staff was not polite enough. For me, this is a very negative experience.

BGN is an excellent clinic. My stay there went very well and successfully. I got the impression that the doctor who treated me is not only a top-class specialist but also a positive person. He performed the surgery masterfully. I couldn't see anything with my right eye, and only a little with my left. I am leaving with 100% vision in both eyes. The medical staff at the clinic works like clockwork. The nurses are attentive, courteous, helpful, and very polite. The clean private room has everything necessary to feel comfortable.

My daughter had been registered with an ophthalmologist since birth. Vision in one eye kept falling, and we constantly went to doctors without any result. In the end, doctors gave a terrible diagnosis: optic nerve atrophy.

Despite the awful prognosis, we didn't give up and continued looking for a doctor. Finally, I learned about “Severance” Hospital in Seoul, that many of our compatriots go there for examinations and treatment.

When we arrived, I immediately liked the coordinators and interpreter: very pedantic, responsible, and yet welcoming. And thanks to excellent organization, the examinations went quickly, my daughter didn't get tired or nervous.

The clinic itself also impressed me greatly: several huge buildings, fantastic equipment, and most importantly – doctors who gave us hope! In a year, we plan to come here again for surgery.

Liked everything! Friendly staff, good attention, answered all questions, were very restrained if the child was capricious! After the surgery, upon arriving home, we immediately went to see our ophthalmologist to continue treatment, the doctor said that the eye was set straight from the first time, which is extremely rarely done in Russia, as they are afraid. At the moment, everything is good. And we hope that in the future the result will justify our hopes. We are planning eyelid surgery and want to fly to this clinic again. In April 2018, we were in South Korea, at the "Hangil" clinic. The hospital is very good! The staff is very friendly, polite, and professional! Our son had a frontalis sling plastic surgery and lower eyelid surgery, everything went very wonderfully. The treating doctor Lee Sang On is simply an incredible person—a professional in his field, he asked and inquired about every detail during the surgery, showed the progress of the surgery so that I, as a mother, was aware of everything happening. Special thanks to the coordinator Victoria, who worried with us and calmed us with words of support, and translator Dina, who also accompanied us at all stages of our stay at the clinic and helped in any situation. We experienced no discomfort during our stay at the clinic. Thank you so much! We solved a problem that we couldn't solve for several years. The child's life changed thanks to the prompt help of manager Olga from Hospitalstravel, we were placed in the reliable hands of highly professional surgeons.
