Ophthalmology in clinics Türkiye

Most Turkish clinics are already accredited by ISO, JACHO and JCI departments, and local doctors are undergoing internships and training at the best universities and hospitals in Western Europe. In addition to treatment and diagnosis, Turkey offers foreigners unique thermal and SPA treatments for rehabilitation and wellness.

Why should you pay attention to treatment in Turkey?

The country's Ministry of Health strictly controls the activities of public and private clinics. More than 30 institutions in Turkey have been accredited by the Joint International Commission, which is the highest in the world. Some hospitals operate as branches of Harvard Medical School and the Johns Hopkins Institute. At the same time, prices for services are on average 65% lower than in the UK and the USA.

Turkish doctors offer such advanced services to foreign patients:

  • robotic oncosurgery;
  • Stereotactic biopsy and radiosurgery (cyber and gamma knife);
  • comprehensive treatment of metastatic melanoma (one of the priorities);
  • conservative treatment of cancerous tumors by innovative methods (ion therapy, bio- and immunotherapy, targeted therapy, brachytherapy, HIFU, radiofrequency ablation, cryodestruction, poly- and monochemotherapy according to a personal protocol, etc.);
  • treatment of male and female infertility;
  • assisted reproductive technologies;
  • bone and cartilage plastic surgery;
  • primary and secondary joint replacement;
  • organ transplantation from a living unrelated donor;
  • bone marrow transplant;
  • services of invasive and non-invasive aesthetic medicine.

The main advantages of treatment in Turkey:

  • high-tech assistance at a low price;
  • the talent and competence of doctors;
  • comfort of stay;
  • lack of a language barrier (staff speaks English, and often Russian);
  • availability of advanced and experimental methods;
  • effective rehabilitation programs.

In addition to traditional therapy, the Turkish segment of healthcare offers foreigners a variety of spa programs.

What is the cost of treatment in Turkey?

The cost of diagnostic and therapeutic measures in Turkish clinics is affordable for representatives of the middle class. A doctor's consultation in Turkey will cost $80-100, check-up diagnostics from $650, and surgical procedures from $1,200. The price for joint replacement ranges from 5,500 to 8,000 dollars, laser vision correction costs from 1,000 dollars, dental implantation (one tooth) – from 900 dollars. When budgeting, you should take into account accommodation and additional expenses, such as bandage knitwear and other accessories that are not included in the cost of the procedure. Medicines are automatically included in the price of the service.
